Braintree Arts Theatre

Welcome

Braintree Arts Theatre opened in 2011 and has grown from strength to strength ever since. We are proud to serve as a cultural hub for our community, bringing diverse performances and creative experiences to audiences throughout Essex.

Our mission is to encourage new, fresh and emerging talent while providing creative, innovative and interesting theatre and arts entertainment to the people of Braintree and beyond. We host a variety of different performances ranging from classic Shakespeare to tribute acts and everything in between, ensuring there is something for everyone to enjoy.

What We Present

Our programme features an exciting mix of professional touring productions, local amateur groups, tribute bands, comedy nights, and theatrical classics. Past performances have included big band swing evenings, Kate Bush tributes, comedy shows, and rock tribute acts.

We believe in supporting both established performers and emerging artists, creating opportunities for new voices to be heard while bringing beloved entertainment to our audiences. Our always evolving programme ensures fresh experiences throughout the year.
